STATUTE OF ASSOCIATION (fragments) CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS - The Association’s name is HISTORIC HOTELS IN POLAND, to be further called
Association. - The Association is a federation of owners and users of historic hotels and lodges, as well as persons expressing an interest in the idea of historic monument preservation and the use of such sites for commercial purposes.
- The seat of the Association is located in Ciemięrzowice, in the Podkarpacie Province. Its scope of activity extends over the territory of the Republic of Poland.
- To achieve its objectives, the Association May extend its activity to other countries while respecting these countries’ legislation.
CHAPTER II OBJECTIVES AND RESOURCES - The Association’s objectives are:
a) mutual promotion and recommendation,
b) promotion of association members’ sites, both domestically and abroad,
c) activity on the behalf of an enhancement of the sites’ esthetic values and an improvement of the standards of the services they provide,
d) enhancement of a consciousness of historical sites’ ownership and management –important elements of national heritage and national tradition.
- The Association achieves its objectives by:
a) representing Association members before national and foreign public administration entities, non-governmental organizations, also in contacts with consultative bodies and mass media,
b) cooperation with and mutual assistance to Association members and their families,
c) cooperation with similar organizations in Poland and abroad, as well as with individual hotels situated in historic monuments,
d) organization of meetings, seminars, exhibitions… intended to enhance knowledge about the hotel business and monument protection,
e) collaboration with local authorities, state administration and commercial entities on the principle of partnership and full autonomy, particularly in the area of initiation, coordination and realization of programs related to the protection and preservation of historical monuments and the development of tourism in historic sites,
f) publishing and advertizing activity on the basis of prevailing regulations.
